作为公司创办人以及设计负责人，Arthur孕育的一系列设计方法来源于故事中的叙事过程。以客户的愿望作为出发点，Arthur在设计过程中逐渐深入到对主题和图案的广泛探究，继而客户可以在收官设计中寻找到最终的共鸣。

通过与世界各地设计顾问的研究和商讨，Arthur从地理、气候、可持续性到基础设施、 建筑文化遗产、文化传统等方面进行探讨，得出一个建筑项目给人带来的视觉和感官上的体验真正植根于它们所处位置的结论。Arthur由此引申出品牌环境这一理念，旨在加强其全球的客户的无缝品牌形象。这可以从他在财富100 强公司，比如可口可乐、微软、法拉利和电通等企业的设计项目中看出。

在美国五杰建筑设计公司创立之前，Arthur曾在Jerde Partnership担任设计总监。生长在德州，Arthur曾先后就读圣安东尼奥学院和德克萨斯大学圣安东尼奥分校。他丰富的阅历和对建筑环境的认知使他成为国内外建筑行业备受瞩目的关键人物。

Co-founder and design principal, Arthur has cultivated a wholly singular approach to design that is derived from the narrative process of story-telling. Beginning with client aspirations, the process delves into the broader context of a project in search of important themes and motifs that will resonate with the people who ultimately experience the finished design. 

Through research and consultation with design counterparts all around the world, Arthur examines everything from geography, climate and sustainability to local infrastructure, architectural heritage and cultural tradition. The result is projects which look and feel authentically rooted in their locations. Arthur’s expertise extends also to the conception of branded environments that reinforce a strong, seamless image for clients with global reach. This can be seen in his signature projects for Fortune 100 companies that include The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, Ferrari and Dentsu. 

Prior to founding 5+design, Arthur was a design principal at The Jerde Partnership. He attended San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio. His rich history and understanding of the built environment has led to the creation of several highprofile projects across the world.
